Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 – Release Date, Trailer, & More

No game received as much speculation as Five Nights at Freddy’s 4. Created by Scott Cawthon, the survival horror series has been a top-selling success on multiple platforms. Its unique approach has spiced the genre in many ways – causing players to feel extreme paranoia and unstoppable jump-scares. And now, we want to share with you more information on the upcoming 4th installment of the game. By reaching out to Youtuber Razzbowski, Scott Cawthon shared a great amount of news that is now considered official and public. It appears that Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 will be released on the 8th of August – which will be on the 1 year anniversary of the game! Previously, it was overhyped that Halloween will be the time of release but since the release date has been pushed much earlier, Cawthon promises a ”free update with extra content to keep the Halloween date special.”  This sounds absolutely fair and if the game is coming earlier then we have nothing to complain about – other than the fact that we will need to meet our Psychologist for nocturnal panic attacks, more often.

Furthermore, there is a trailer that has been released and this time the game looks unlike its predecessors. It certainly puts you in a different location than the Freddy Frazbear’s Pizza that we have come to know. The house in which the game will take place in looks very creepy and you will not be provided with the best of lighting effects – to say the least. The controlled doors from previous games will no longer be there, so it seems that you are vulnerable to attack at all times. To be honest, the new game mechanics are worrying us already! How can we fend off against whatever is out there? You can watch the trailer for this game below.
