We have been seeing gamers and Apple users get frustrated lately due to the inability to jailbreak after they have updated to iOS 9. Just very recently, the Pangu Team released their PanGu Jailbreak tool for iOS 9.0 – 9.0.2. This is of course amazing news, because many who couldn’t record their screen before, will now be able to; among other features that become possible.
With iOS 9, Apple attempted to create a rootless security system where iOS users would be blocked from modifying system files. Many thought that jailbreaking would be a thing of the past, but the Pangu Team have proven otherwise, and now you are able to jailbreak.
For now, you will need to use Windows, instead of Mac, to jailbreak your device but soon it will be available with Mac as well. Make sure to backup your device before starting the process, switch your device to airplane mode, disable passcode and ”Find my iPhone” functions from settings. Supported devices that have been confirmed to be jailbreak-able are: iPod Touch, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/ 5C/ 5S, iPhone 6/ 6 Plus, iPhone 6S/ 6S Plus, iPad Mini/ 2/ 3/ 4/, and iPad/ iPad Air/ iPad Air 2.
Jailbreaking comes as an important process in allowing players to record their gameplays for their Youtube channels or to customize their mobile device as they see fit. Click here to be transferred to the Jailbreak page.
