Since Minecraft: Pocket Edition [$6.99] has launched, the most wanted feature that all Minecrafters have been asking for was the Redstone Circuits. Mojang has listened to the fans and included this feature in the new Beta update (0.13) which is now available for Android. The Stonecutter has been removed for good and Pistons, Repeaters, and Advanced Blocks were not included, but there were plenty of awesome stuff added.
The changelog lists a number of new features such as:
- Redstone Circuits: Redstone Wire, Torch, Lamp, Levers, Buttons, Pressure plates, Tripwires, Trapped Chests and Detector Rails.
- Cute and fluffy crop-eating bunnies.
- New wooden doors.
If you are an Android user, you can click here to join the Beta, although it will make its way to iOS eventually, so do not panic. Once you have joined the Beta, the app will automatically download and install on your device, and may take a few days to appear. So there we go, the Redstone Circuits are closer than ever to our mobile devices!
