Asphalt 8: Airborne – The Area 51 Update Will Have You Looking At The Sky!

While Asphalt 8: Airborne [Free] has proven to be a ”Gravity Defying Experience,” the new Area 51 update will bring a new experience that will defy your logic. The game has been out for more than 2 years and as you see, it still lives! With update 2.2.0, Gameloft has included the exclusive Lamborghini Egoista. Most definitely the biggest part of this update is the new location, Area 51 – a top secret racing (more like military) facility where strange phenomena and secretive activities have been taking place. Do keep a look out as you race, you might spot a UFO or two, but hey, make sure not to report it or people will label you mad.

With the new R&D series, there will be two new blazing fast machines revealed and exclusive rewards to get. More cars will be introduced as well, such as the Lamborghini Asterion, Renault Sport R.S. 01, Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34), and 11 other amazing sports cars to be revealed. They will be gradually unveiled within the next days and weeks, so keep checking! Furthermore, Tag Racing mode has been added where you can race with 3 different cars in 1 single race.

Finally, now the game supports 3D Touch Controls for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. There are 3 Holiday Tracks that are winter themed now, a way for Gameloft to tell you, ”Happy Holidays!” It does sound like a very good update considering that the game has been out for a long time. Being interested in Area 51 for quite a while, this update will keep me playing this game in the holidays. You can check the trailer for the Area 51 update below.
