Clash of Clans – Supercell Announces Economy Changes For The Next Update

Around the 4th quarter, Clash of Clans [Free] underwent one of the most hyped periods in its history. The Town Hall 11 update impacted the game in a way that many players had to totally change their strategies in terms of offense and defense. Yet today, Anoushka from Supercell posted a notification for an upcoming update that will tweak the economy in the game. Players have been complaining about losing resources due to extreme looting, so Supercell has responded. Three issues were brought up: Star Bonus, Treasury, and Loot Cart.

First of all, the upcoming update will introduce the new Star Bonus. If you win five stars in Multiplayer attacks, you will win daily resource bonus. This is a feature they have incorporated in their latest game Clash Royale, and the feedback seems positive towards it, so they decided to bring it to Clash of Clans. Second, there will be a Treasury added in your Clan Castle where you can safely store resources. Daily Star Bonus and War Loot Bonus will be automatically stored there and if attacked, only an extremely small percentage will be stolen.

Finally, the Loot Cart will be introduced. Following an attack on your village, a percentage of the looted resources will be added to a Loot Cart in your Village. You can collect the resources and they will be transferred to the Treasury for protection. Just to clarify, the loot is not dropped or left behind from the attacker, but is simply a bonus. Other than that, minor bugs will be fixed. While there is no date for the release of this new update, Supercell mentioned that it will be coming very soon.
