We previously wrote about the 14 year old TV series, Futurama, and its revival as a mobile game by Wooga and Fox Digital Entertainment. Although the game was first soft launched on Android back on December 1st, 2015; today we want to inform you that Futurama: Game of Drones [Free] has soft launched on the Canadian App Store.

The game, however, may be of a different genre than you have expected. It is a match-4 puzzle game and has been receiving very positive reviews so far. You may or may not be a fan of these type of puzzle games, but hey, it’s Futurama. You know? The two-times Emmy Award winner series is a fun TV show with many millions of fans, so if you happen to be a fan then you will like the game regardless of its genre.

From what we have seen, the game is very entertaining and does not stop at a match-4 experience, but presents itself with numerous elements from the Futurama universe. You will be assembling an army of delivery drones to deliver cargo to distant places to beat rival MomCo. Plenty of memorable characters and locations will be explored in Futurama: Game of Drones.
