We have waited years to see an Assassin’s Creed game on mobile and the wait is finally over. Assassin’s Creed Identity [$4.99] has now been released worldwide by Ubisoft. It was surprising to see it re-introduced as a premium game, because during its soft launch period, it was available for free. We definitely saw a lot of improvements since we last played it when it was soft launched, so you can expect a decent and genuine Assassin’s Creed experience.
The action stealth game’s theme is based on the memories of past and present which can be uncovered by reading the Codex. All this will be taking place in Rome, Florence, Firenze & other familiar locations in Renaissance Italy. The open world map will present familiar places to those who have already played this title on console. Through your venture into this strange world, you collect items that help you understand the bigger story.
We are disappointed to see this much awaited title lacking a deep story. You basically play through each mission not really having a rich plot to build on. Nevertheless, it stays true to the traditional AC style that we have come to know & love – this means you can sneak, you can stab, and you can definitely climb. And really, it is the closest AC experience we have at the moment, so we can’t really complain much.
The missions very much focus on the Crows, which is an organization created secretly by the Templars to hunt down the Assassins. What is more thrilling is that the story also revolves around the Isu, The First Civilization or the ancient and advanced humanoid species that are responsible for creating the human race. Even though the missions are somewhat short, it is exciting that you are able to invite friends to help you complete your missions through an interesting Co-Op experience.
With Assassin’s Creed Identity, there are many new heroes presented and you can choose from 4 unique classes: The Berserker, The Shadow Blade, The Trickster.& The Thief. You can customize your characters in terms of outfits and color variations as well. Ubisoft has rendered the graphics with custom-made HD textures, shaders, and models based on the Assassin’s Creed console title. We expect to see the game available on Google Play soon, so stay tuned with our website to be notified. Don’t miss out on the amazing advertisement for this game below.
