Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links – Duel Against Players In Real-Time

One of the most memorable childhood series was Yu-Gi-Oh!. First introduced in 1996, the franchise has become recognizable all across the world since then and proved to be the world’s best selling trading card game. Luckily, there is a new card-based game coming to iOS & Android in late April called Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links by Konami Digital Entertainment. It will first be released in Japan and then globally before the year ends.

Very recently, a trailer for the game has been publicized and now we know more about the game. In the trailer you can see that it will feature a Duel World single player mode, an Online Matching mode, and major characters from the series. In the Duel World mode, you can choose your favorite character and face off against standard & legendary duelists. With the completion of mission, your characters levels can be increased and other cards can be obtained. And as players proceed through the stages, new legendary duelists can be unlocked and new functions revealed.

Here comes the more interesting mode, the Online Matching mode. You can battle against your friends and online duelists in real-time! To improve your skills, the game allows you to practice against decks of duelists that you have already played against. This can be the best feedback on whether you are improving or not. Additionally, we previously mentioned that there are main characters included, such as: Yami Yugi, Seto Kaiba, Katsuya Jounouchi (Joey Wheeler), and Mai Kujaku (Mai Valentine). Characters can be unlocked as you progress in the game. You can expect the game to be Free-to-play with in-app purchases. You can watch the trailer for this game below.
