The Elder Scrolls: Legends – The Game Has Not Been Abandoned!

Back in June of 2015, Bethesda Softworks, the developer behind The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, & The Evil Within, has announced that an epic and competitive card game by the name of The Elder Scrolls: Legends is coming to mobile. Almost 9 months later and you are probably still wondering what happened to it. Of course, this is an exciting game because it will be based on The Elder Scrolls universe. In a recent tweet, the VP of Marketing at Bethesda (Pete Hines) mentioned that they are coming closer to talk about the game and even show it. This gives us hope that the game has not been abandoned by the company and is still in development.

The Elder Scrolls games are titles that need no introduction and have become the benchmark of Epic RPG’s. While we wanted the game to come in the form of an RPG we are quite grateful that its coming, no matter the shape or form. Now, if you are not a fan of card games, you will have to become one because this franchise has literally obliterated all rival games from the same genre, in the whole industry. The Elder Scrolls: Legends will be somewhat similar to Hearthstone in its mechanics and it would be interesting if this game will have the spark that will outshine Hearthstone but we will have to see.

The Elder Scrolls series takes place in the continent of Tamriel on the world of Nirn, where races and kingdoms are drastically conflicted. Of course, the lore behind this fascinating series is very rich and long but we will make sure to write more about it upon the release of this game. This upcoming title will be free-to-play and will be available for both, PC and iPad. It was previously thought that the game will be released in 2015 but this didn’t happen. Hopefully, we will live to see it come out this year. You can watch the teaser trailer for this game below.
