No Way! Bethesda has unveiled the mystery surrounding The Elder Scrolls: Legends and now we can tell you so many things about it. In a genre where Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is dominating, The Elder Scrolls: Legends will become a worthy competitor. Although it is an online strategy card game, there is more to this anticipated game than you think. The Elder Scrolls franchise has paved the way for epic games since 1994.

The fans will love the upcoming mobile game because it has a lot of elements from the original series. Remember the characters, races, and deities from the series? They will be available in The Elder Scrolls: Legends. It’s almost unbelievable to think that you have a game like this in the palm of your hand. Bethesda ensured that the game will be accurate even in its details. For example, you will notice that cards will contain features such as strength, intelligence, agility, endurance, and willpower that can decide how you approach your battles. Each deck can be crafted using two of the five attributes.

It is designed for the casual and hardcore gamers, for those who have 10 minutes or 10 hours available. There are three exciting modes designed for all types of players, which shows how dedicated Bethesda is about this game. They are not just ripping off a world class franchise just to profit from it; they are really putting a lot of effort into The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

The single-player campaign is story-driven and plays true to the lore of the franchise. It takes place in the world of Tamriel where you will learn all about the game from its informative tutorial. At first you will earn 5 pre-construced decks to give you a head-start and you can change your decks as you learn and improve. Right from the start, the story will be captivating. A fallen Imperial City, an Emperor on the run, and cultists & conspiracy at every corner of Tamriel.

According to the Creative Director, Paul Dennen, you will play in an untold chapter of the Elder Scrolls history. Now that is absolutely something we look forward to experience. Tamriel is truly a magical and mysterious place and fans will attest to this. There will be 10 races to create decks from, including the reptilian Argonians, feline Khajits, human Nords, and many more.

Later on, you will be introduced to the Arena & Battle mode where you will encounter familiar characters and recognizable places. You will learn about the game’s lane system. Basically, there are two lanes where each has its own characteristics. For instance, once you choose a lane for your creature to be dropped on, you can decide to either attack the opponent’s creatures from that lane or go straight for the opponent directly. Of course, you can’t always go for your foe if his creatures are ready to get a big bite out of you. It all comes down to strategy and we will discuss this more in future articles.

In the Arena you can go against live players or AI for practice. It will be quite an adventure for you and you will run by some of the amazing characters found in The Elder Scrolls, such as Lucien Lachance of the Dark Brotherhood. And a word of caution, be prepared to face dragons and the Daedra because they will be in the game too.
