A week ago, we reported the warning that Supercell released and how it has taken very seriously the use of 3rd party applications when playing Clash of Clans. Since then, Supercell has banned thousands of players that have been using 3rd party apps such as Xmod (which can be used for cheats). According to Supercell, the reason for these bans are that these applications can be used for cheats and Supercell is standing by a new policy to push fair play into their games.
Supercell will ban any account that uses a 3rd party application for 2 weeks, and if the user continues to use these apps, he will be banned permanently. That is not a warning to be taken lightly. However, the team behind Xmod has responded to Supercell’s recent actions in a tweet and promised their users that they will take on Supercell’s challenge and improve anti-detection algorithms. They have also advised Xmod users to take certain actions to prevent Supercell from banning them.
Xmod has added that they are working on an update to solve the problem so that Supercell won’t be able to ban any future Xmod user. It is interesting to see this clash between these two big parties, but it seems that if you play Clash of Clans, then clashing is inevitable. They never give any warning to some and others got a warning BUT also send no proof, they just autobot the reply, if you ask for any proof they say it is not negotiable. Even in your article you stated the 2-week ban. Supercell violated its own and the People’s right by banning people on 8/31/16 and then changing its ToS the day after on 9/1/16.
