One of the most requested feature for Clash Royale [Free] is making its way to the game in the next update. That’s right, we are talking about Spectator Mode! Wouldn’t it be just great to see two friends battle it live rather than watch a replay of the match? We can all agree on that. Just early on today, Supercell has provided a sneak peek into the upcoming Spectator Mode and it looks like an exact replica of the feature that was available at the Helsinki eSports Tournament.
The company ensured that the spectator won’t be able to see the cards of the players unless they are used by the player. This is a safe approach to prevent cheating. The spectator is able to know how many others are watching along with him too, which is great to know. We definitely see Mobile eSports in the future of Clash Royale. Another interesting change that will be implemented is that you can select what Arena matches you wish to view on TV Royale. This can be very helpful for players to filter through the options they are looking for. You can see a demonstration of the Spectator mode below.
