Don’t say it! Yes, we know this is yet another Warhammer title, but not just any. Warhammer 40K: Chess – Regicide will be coming to iOS on May 19th. This means we have so little time to prepare for its epic entrance. There are many reasons that make this game fascinating and worthy enough to be mentioned. This game brings the Warhammer universe to the world of Chess in a brutal & gory turn-based strategy experience and it’s unlike anything we have seen before.
It was first released on Steam back in August of 2015 by developer & publisher Hammerfall Publishing. It was received with positive feedback by critics and players alike. We expect nothing less from the iOS version because Hammerfall is a company that has strong emphasis on the quality of its games. The game has been redesigned for mobile screens and has been empowered with a bloody single-player campaign, a cross platform & asynchronous multiplayer mode, universal accounts, new board layouts and brand new content along with new faction abilities.
Oh, it gets even better! In celebration of the iOS launch, PC & iOS players will receive all the upcoming DLC for free for the initial 12 days post-release. It will include a new 20 mission prequel campaign; the Blood Axes, a new Ork Clan; and the Imperial Garrison, a whole new environment set in the Warhammer universe. Warhammer 40K: Chess – Regicide will be available on the iPhone & iPad at the price of $3.99, which is very cheap when you compare it to the Steam price of $14.99.
