Hello Alexander, we have noticed this issue come up in several devices. In our experience, it appears that several factors affect this problem. One main factor was that the 3G data is not strong enough and you might need 4G to resolve this issue. Another factor that seemed to affect it is the Android operating system due to Android fragmentation. This can be solved with Niantic releasing a fix for these devices that have this problem or you may upgrade your internet data. There can be other problems and solutions but since the game has just been released, this is the current solution that we can share. We will contact Niantic about this problem and consider discussing it in a future article. Thank you.

It means apps that are downloaded from places other than Google Play. For example, Pokemon GO app that we added is a third party app because you are downloading it from a website, not Google Play since it’s not available in your country.

Go to you gps location and allow pokemon go to use your location system. I installed it on my wife’s s3. It might be sluggish thou. The game requires 2gb of ram

I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 I live in Kaufman County tx and for some reason my location is on at high accuracy and I have wifi on as well but my avatar will not move, only walks in place when I walk around or just turns direction, tried resetting and reinstalling please help! Try to use internet data and attempt playing outside, if it works accurately then the problem is from the building you are in. We are assuming you are playing inside because you said you use WiFi. Let us know how it works out for you.

This is a standard message that appears when you install third party applications. It doesn’t mean it will harm your device. This file is available on all mobile gaming websites, so it is pretty safe and tested. But if you feel safer not downloading it, you can wait for the global release which is coming soon.

This version of the game is before the update so it is better to wait till its live in your country. However this error message comes usually when you are not allowing third party applications on your device. This can be changed by going to Developer options and enabling it.

Yeah, anyone who has the Galaxy S3 can’t download Pokèmon GO because the phone is an older Samsung. I’ve tried enabling my GPS and uninstalling any apps that I’ve downloaded from other stores and it currently says ” Your device isn’t compatible with this version, ” it’s pointless to release a game without including all of the softwares in any phones, looks like I’ll be waiting before I play.
