Not far from now, Niantic will start introducing the legendary birds, Mewtwo, Mew, and Ditto. It will be a glorious moment, no question about that. But then the 2nd generation Pokemon will be introduced in a future update and we already have our eyes on some cool ones we want to catch. It is important to keep an eye on some of the ones we are about to mention due to their unique qualities and rarity.
Entei is one of the three legendary beasts of the 2nd generation Pokemon. According to legends, after Entei was burned at the Brass Tower, it was resurrected by the mighty Ho-Oh. This fire Pokemon is said to be born whenever a volcano erupts around the world and one roar from an Entei leads to a volcano eruption as well. In a way, this Pokemon is the equivalent of a Moltres and it will be the one that Team Valor will be rooting for next.
Raikou is one of the three legendary beasts of the 2nd generation Pokemon. Also believed to be resurrected by Ho-Oh after the burning of the Brass Tower. It is said that Raikou’s lightning struck the tower and led to it being burned. This lightning tiger is able to fly by creating storm clouds. In its nature, Raikou hardly trusts humans and tends to bark like the sound of thunder when an electric-type Pokemon is in danger. Team Instinct will probably love this one but we still believe Zapdos has much better looks.
Suicune is one of the three legendary beasts of the 2nd generation Pokemon and the best looking of them. Like its brethren, Suicine is believed to be resurrected by Ho-Oh after the burning of the tower and its rain ended the flames that overwhelmed the tower. With the ability to walk on water (just like Jesus), it purifies everything it touches. The Northern Winds blow stronger in the presence of a Suicine. Unexpectedly, it is believed that this Pokemon is the closest to Ho-Oh out of the three legendary beasts. It is fair to say that Team Mystic are about to get one Pokemon that we will envy them for.
Ho-Oh, the guardian of the skies and the trio master of the three legendary beasts (Entei, Raikou, Suicune). It is said that Ho-Oh has mythical power to bring the dead back to life. When it flies, its wings leave the signs of a rainbow from where it passed. Legend has it that whoever sees a Ho-Oh is promised eternal happiness. It is quite exciting to know that this Pokemon will be coming soon to Pokemon GO and we are planning to acquire one when it’s possible because who doesn’t want the gift of eternal happiness, right?
Lugia, guardian of the seas and the trio master of the legendary birds (Articuno, Moltres, & Zapdos). When the legendary birds fight amongst each other, Lugia is the only Pokemon that can stop them. Lugia is able to control the weather and give rise to terrible storms. Even the lightest flutter of its wings can bring about powerful winds that can destroy cliffs. According to some Pokemon scientists, if it were to flap its wings; it can cause storms that last as long as 40 days. Known for its high intelligence, Lugia is one of the most powerful Pokemon and is known to isolate itself in the depth of sea.
