Problems did not end with the latest fixes that Niantic introduced. In fact, there are new mishaps that have become an obstacle to Pokémon GO players worldwide. Well, what more can go wrong, right? Oh, you will be surprised. The first is the removal of numerous PokeStops by Niantic. Now, we are not talking about PokeStops that are potentially dangerous, disrespectful to play in, or privacy intrusive – not at all!
We are talking about safe and public places. Note that this is not Niantic’s fault, but the people reporting these locations are the ones behind this. It appears that Niantic may have an automated system that removes any location that has been reported. Of course, they cannot deal with the thousands of locations so having such a system can be understandable.
Another problem that people are complaining about has to do with the increased amount of hackers that are gaining insane amount of XP, which allows them to have the upper hand in taking a Gym and defending it. Some of these hackers have already reached level 40 and own extremely high CP Pokémon. We acknowledge that this doesn’t mean all level 40 players are hackers. However, they have achieved this in less time than those who grind day and night.
Yet, we have barely scratched the surface with the problems that are appearing. Due to increased pressure on Niantic, they will be unable to address everything unfortunately but they are doing their best to release the next update that will solve some of the problems reported and bring back some of the features that were removed.
