Many of you probably have an outdated version of Pokémon GO on your Android device, so we wanted to provide you with a tested and safe updated version (0.33.0) in order for you to continue playing. Keep in mind that if the game is already out in your country, then it is preferable to get it from the Google Play Store. Also keep in mind that not all websites on the internet provide a safe version, that’s why we wanted to provide one for you so that you can avoid getting any harmful applications on your device.
Thanks to APK Mirror, you can get the new version by clicking here. If you don’t have third party applications enabled on your device then your device might warn you that third party applications may be harmful. You can enable it from Settings/Security and from there enable Unknown sources. You can be sure that the app is safe but if you want further confirmation, then download CM Security & Internet Security from Google Play and scan the app. Furthermore, installing the new version does not delete your progress.
Below, you can see the changes that version 0.33.0 brings about:
- Added a dialog to remind Trainers that they should not play while traveling above a certain speed; Trainers will have to indicate they aren’t the driver
- Fixed a bug that prevented ”Nice,” ”Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate XP bonuses
- Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time, so please choose your new nickname wisely
- Resolved issues with the battery saver mode on iOS and re-enabled the feature
- Other fixes
