Since update 1.3 was released, Pokémon GO players have not complained as much as before. Simply, there’s more to this update than anyone expected. When you look closer, you will notice a secret feature that was not announced in the patch notes. With the new update, Niantic replaced the Nearby feature by Sightings, which is a temporary tracking system. What Sightings does, it allows you to see nearby Pokémon in the form of icons on the screen.

Yet, what raises curiosity is that some players can see another tab named Nearby which reveals to you Pokémon found at nearby Pokestops. The Pokestops images are also available so that you can find the locations easily. This has satisfied many players due to the easy use of this tracking system. It shows you an image of the Pokestop so you know exactly where to go and what Pokémon will be available there.
Finally, we think this feature is pretty convenient since it shows you what Pokémon are at which Pokestop. Niantic is still developing their tracking system and we have yet to see the best of their creativity soon enough. Stay tuned with our website for the latest news on Pokémon GO.
