We already know Trading, Incenses, and Legendary Pokémon will be coming in the future but what is this new Buddy System?

This system will allow a Pokémon to follow you around as you walk. It seems that the Buddy System will use the same distance calculation used for Pokémon eggs. The great thing about having a Pokémon Buddy is that you will be rewarded with a limited amount of candy on a daily basis. According to the findings, you can walk with one buddy at a time and the Pokémon Buddy can appear walking next to you or even on your shoulder.
