Asphalt Xtreme has been announced by Gameloft but this comes as no surprise since we were expecting it. Remember when an important Gameloft document was leaked months ago? In that document there were games mentioned that are expected to come in 2016 and 2017, and Asphalt Xtreme was among them.
This time, the Asphalt experience will be much more extreme (hence the name), thanks to the off-road dirt racing that is being introduced on a massive scale to this series. Note that Asphalt Xtreme is not called Asphalt 9 because there is a game called Asphalt 9: Shockwave that’s expected to be released in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
For your information, Gameloft’s Asphalt series is one of the most profitable series in the company’s history and it plans to release even more Asphalt games that are already being developed. You can pre-register for Asphalt Xtreme by clicking here in order to receive in-game rewards upon release.
The game will be visually stunning and comes with vast locations to burn your wheels on. The company never disappoints when it comes to the quality of the games they release. Gameloft demonstrates the game’s graphics in the Gobi Desert (located in northern China and southern Mongolia) via a short video below.
