Supercell dropped one of the biggest and most controversial updates yet! As you well know, Clash Royale players have been wanting the option to mute Emotes during a game and now this is possible with the new update. They have also added a new tournament mode which includes Challenges, Classic Challenge, and Grand Challenge.

For Challenges, with 12 wins you can unlock the top prize but if you get 3 losses then you’re disqualified. For Classic Challenge, you can enter with 10 Gems for a top prize of 2000 Gold and 100 cards. As for Grand Challenge, you can enter with 100 Gems for a prize of 22000 Gold and 1100 Cards. This definitely sounds challenging but worth trying out.

Moreover, this update includes four new cards and every two weeks, one new card will be revealed. We currently know the first card’s name, Mega Minion, a rare card found in Arena 7. The Mega Minion is a flying armored character that comes with an HP of 695 and DPS of 219. We are looking forward to see what the other cards will be. In addition, there are new chests: Legendary Chest & Epic Chest, both containing Legendary Cards and Epic Cards, respectively.

Finally, there are new features worth mentioning. You can challenge your friends from your friend list via Friendly Battles and spectate your online friends while they are in Battle. Update 1.5 is definitely rich in content but we are more interested in learning about the mysterious new cards. Stay tuned for the latest news on Clash Royale.
