The Future of Asphalt – Sourced From Gameloft’s Presentation of 2016

Asphalt as a franchise has been one of Gameloft’s most successful yet. In fact, it is the most recognizable franchise when it comes to the racing genre on mobile. Recently, we announced Asphalt Xtreme and mentioned Asphalt 9: Shockwave but there is much more to the story. Back in March when a Gameloft document was made public, it envisaged the future of the Asphalt franchise in becoming eSports friendly.

Asphalt Xtreme is expected to be released this year while Asphalt 9: Shockwave has been set for the 2nd quarter of 2017. Unfortunately, Asphalt StreetStorm remains a mystery.
