Few months ago, we talked about a Warhammer 40K themed endless runner. The game’s name is now revealed to be Speed Freeks, which is the byproduct of a  Games Workshop and Artcode Interactive collaboration. It is now soft launched in New Zealand and you can get it from there if you have a NZ Apple ID. It is strange to see an endless runner with a Warhammer 40K theme but exciting, nevertheless. The game is set for release globally soon, first to iOS then Android.

The game was described by the Co-Founder to include, “One of the greatest collection of vehicles can be found in the Warhammer 40K universe – we consider it the ‘holy grail’ of vehicular combat. Some of us who were at Relic Entertainment forged our interests and skills on the Warhammer games. We always knew there was this great collection of war bikes, war buggies, tanks, and some of the best war vehicles from any game franchise out there.”

The unique factor about this game is that it is an endless runner with a Warhammer 40K theme that’s focused on vehicular combat. Definitely sounds like an interesting game. So expect evading and attacking other vehicles in different modes. The Warhammer franchise has a large fan base and this game will be expected to rise in popularity within its first week of release.
