Square Enix always finds a way to surprise us with more of their interesting titles. This time, they announced that Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect will be released in 2017. For those of you who haven’t heard of this franchise, Bravely Default was developed by Silicon Studio and released in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS. The turn-based game was released with noticeable Final Fantasy elements which attracted millions worldwide.
The mobile game will be a fantasy RPG but not much information has been disclosed about it. The good news is that a closed beta test will begin soon and by then we should have learned more about the game. But let us tell you a bit about the original Bravely Default. The story took place in the world of Luxendark which is preserved by the balance of four elemental crystals that are protected by the the influential, religious group, The Crystal Orthodoxy.
Then one dark day, the crystals became consumed by darkness and the world at the edge of doom. In the original game, your journey began in order to awaken these crystals to bring back balance to the world and face the great evil that has planned the destruction of Luxendark.
