Not long ago, we wrote about Telltale & Marvel’s partnership and our theory was that they are working on a Guardians of the Galaxy mobile game due to a movie of the same name coming to the cinema next year. Well, Telltale has officially announced that they will be releasing Episode 1 of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series in 2017.

According to Kevin Bruner, CEO of Telltale Games, ”The energizing blend of humor, emotion, teamwork, and full-on sci-fi action-adventure of the Guardians provides an enormously satisfying space to explore through Telltale’s unique style of interactive storytelling.”

He further adds that “In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, players will take on multiple roles within the ragtag band of heroes, and take the pilot’s seat in directing their escapades around the universe.” We are very excited to see how this interactive game plays once it’s completed.
