We previously mentioned that the 2nd generation Pokemon will be coming very soon. According to a report by The Silph Road, there is a Starbucks Pokemon Promo that will launch this Thursday, December 8th. What is more interesting is that the promo points out that there will be new Pokemon introduced. Starting December 8th, all Starbucks stores will become PokeStops or Gyms following a partnership between Niantic & Starbucks.

So will we see new Pokemon revealed this month? This has been confirmed by the official Pokemon Twitter and more information on the new Pokemon should be revealed on December 12th. However, this may well refer to the 2nd generation creatures or  the legendary Pokemon found in generation 1, such as Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos.
