For years, players have requested Gameloft to release a new instalment for N.O.V.A. but unfortunately none was announced nor released. If you are not familiar with the N.O.V.A. series, it is a Halo-like franchise that was one of the most popular shooters on mobile. The action was insanely addictive and the maps were gigantic. You had the ability to play multiplayer games with your friends and online against strangers. To put it simply, it was the ideal online shooter experience for mobile.

Since N.O.V.A. 3, we waited for 5 years and heard nothing about the series. However, N.O.V.A. Legacy has just been announced. Gameloft emphasized that it will be coming to Google Play but an iOS release is imminent. This upcoming game is a free-to-play reboot of the first instalment of the series.
