Rovio is coming back with a sequel to The Angry Birds Movie! And why wouldn’t they? It made over $300 million at the box office. Therefore, to keep the Angry Birds franchise alive and well, they have announced that The Angry Birds Movie 2 will be coming to theaters on September 20th, 2019. We expect the movie to have famous voice actors and will be directed by Thurop Van Orman (who worked on Adventure Time) & John Rice (who worked on Rick and Morty), according to Columbia Pictures and Rovio.
