Finally, the legendary Pokemon are becoming a reality, an augmented one at least! Due to the failure of the Pokemon GO Fest Event attributed to technical problems, players became extremely frustrated and angry with Niantic. Niantic’s CEO was booed and the game received a lot of negative feedback. In order for the company to win back the fans’ hearts and support, they have announced that for the next 3 weeks that Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos will be available in Raid Battles all across the globe.

Naturally, encountering them doesn’t translate into catching them because it will be extremely difficult to capture these legendary Pokemon. First, you will need to defeat them in a Legendary Raid Battle and will need the help of other friends to do so within the limited time you have. It gets even harder due to the fact that you have a specific amount of time to find and beat them.

Articuno will be available from today until the end of July; Moltres will be available from July 31st to August 7th; And Zapdos can be encountered from August 7th to August 14th. There is no information on these Pokemon being available after these dates but for now that is what we know. It is estimated that players have approximately 3% chance to catch a legendary Pokemon with a Pokeball but can be increased to 24% with a Golden Razz Berry and an excellent throw.
