Tekken Mobile – Begins Launch On February 1st

No one is a stranger to Tekken, no one. If you are then this is a good reason to keep reading! First developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 1994, the fighting game became into a much loved series with 10 instalments being released up to now, the latest being in 2015. The company has soft launched a mobile version called Tekken Mobile [Free] which is available on the Canadian App Store for now but will start launching internationally in February 1st.

It will be available in South America, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East and South East Asia on February 1st. Then it will arrive to Russia, Benelux, Singapore, Italy, France, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Germany, and UK on the 15th of February. Players in the USA, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong will have access to it on the 1st of March.

The game is based on a freemium system and is swipe based, very similar to mobile games like Injustice. While it is not the fighting style we wanted, it is still a Tekken game with all its characters and glory. Its main features is the Story Mode and Dojo Challenge: The first takes you on a campaign to defeat enemies and bosses while the latter allows you to play against players from around the world via an AI system rather than in real-time.
