Pokemon Sword & Shield – The Isle of Armor DLC

We are sure that all of you are excited for the Pokemon Sword & Shield Expansion Pass that’s arriving on June 17th. So what do we know about it? The Isle of Armor Expansion takes you to an island based in the Galar region where you will explore interesting environments such as beaches, forests, bogs, caves, and sand dunes. And yes, there is a dojo that specializes in unique training styles where you can train.

Let’s talk about what we do know about this Expansion Pass. You can travel to The Island of Armor from the Wild Area and when you arrive there, the trainers that you meet will have Pokemon levels based on your circumstances. So if your highest Pokemon level is 50, you can expect your opponent’s Pokemon to be around the same level. The Expansion Pass will adapt to your level.

As we mentioned, even if you haven’t finished the main story you can still play the Expansion Pass as long as you have reached the Wild Area. Furthermore, you can go from one place to another on the island using your bike, the only place you can fast travel to is the dojo.

Of course, there will be new Pokemon with new Gigantamax forms. Some of the legendary Pokemon that the DLC will feature are Kubfu, Urshifu, Gigantamax Urshifu, Calyrex, Regieleki, and Regidrago. And some of the amazing classic Pokemon you will find are Gigantamax Venusaur, Gigantamax Blastoise, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and new forms for familiar Pokemon such as Galarian Slowpoke and Galarian Slowbro.
