Crysis Remastered – Release Date Finally Confirmed

Crysis Remastered is easily one of the best games coming to Nintendo Switch this year. In a much unexpected announcement, the official Crysis Twitter Account announced that the game will still be released on July 23rd for the Nintendo Switch despite previously saying it will be postponed. We now know that it will be released at the estimated price of 26.99 GBP or $29.99.

The game has been described to feature ”action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles” with ”remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.” Like its predecessors, the game will give you the power of the Nanosuit where you will learn to adapt in a changing environment from the frozen jungle to alien environments.

Crysis Remastered is said to feature the original game’s single player campaign presented in high quality textures, an HD texture pack, improved art assets, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, state of the art depth fields, new light settings, motion blur, parallax occlusion mapping, and particle effects. You will also notice volumetric fog and shafts of light, software-based ray tracing, and screen space reflections that deliver a major visual upgrade.

Finally, knowing what Crytek is capable of, we absolutely believe that Crysis Remastered will be a masterpiece and look fantastic.
