The Paper Mario series was first released in Japan in 2000 and then internationally a year after. A lot has changed in the last 20 years but one thing remained the same, the love for Paper Mario. Today, Nintendo released the latest in the series, Paper Mario: The Origami King, at the price of $59.99.
In this game, you join Mario and Olivia on a fun adventure where you get to face off against the Origami King and his paper minions. Your objective is to save Princess Peach from the evil King Olly. On this adventure, you will find many places to explore that visually look stunning in this papercrafted world.
Paper Mario: The Origami King brings a visually beautiful experience with lots of humor to enjoy. Built on the foundation of Adventure & RPG, players will find the experience rich in its gameplay. While Nintendo did a great job in presenting the game, it takes away time from memorable characters and does not grant some of them the time they deserve. You end up quickly passing by iconic Nintendo characters that would have made the experience far more interesting had they been scripted for longer time in this game.
Our complaints does not take away the fun from the fantastic world of Paper Mario: The Origami King, the game remains a great place for you to enjoy its unique experience. From jungles and canyons to a ninja-themed mansion and an ocean cruise liner, these are just some of the few scenes that you will reach in an attempt to uncover their mysteries.
Finally, Paper Mario: The Origami King is a beautiful world full of adventure, humor, and replayability. For those of you who love the Nintendo world, this game presents its iconic characters and unique places in a way that you have never seen before.
