They are giving away this Pokemon in celebration of the Pokemon Players Cup which is a tournament that has been hosting the top players in the world. So how can you get your hands on a Porygon 2?

All you need to do is watch the Players Cup Event on August 22nd & 23rd on their official YouTube Channel. During the event, they will reveal a code on the screen that can be redeemed in the Mystery Gift menu of Pokemon Sword & Shield. Doing that will get you a battle-ready Porygon 2.
