There were a lot of rumors going around about a new Nintendo Switch device. These rumors were then followed by a report from a Taiwanese newspaper called United Daily News which claimed that Nintendo may launch a new Switch model in the early months of 2021. The report claimed several hardware manufacturers who were involved in the production were the source of this information.
It also claimed that production for this new model will begin later this year while scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2021. The upcoming Nintendo model is dubbed as the Switch Pro featuring more power and improved graphics.
To further build on these claims with evidence, the tech reporter Takashi Mochizuki wrote an article on Bloomberg confirming the reports coming from the United Daily News. Moreover, he adds that the specifications of this new device have yet to be finalized but that the company is looking into increasing its computing power while featuring 4K high-definition graphics.
Finally, he also says that the launch of this new model would be coupled with or may come after the release of a select amount of games coming to the platform.
