Along with the exciting games that were announced today during the Nintendo Direct Event was Monster Hunter Rise. The Monster Hunter franchise has been popular since 2004 when the first game was released. However, unlike previous Monster Hunter games, Monster Hunter Rise takes the experience to a whole new level.
You will team up with 3 other players in order to save the ninja-inspired Kamura Village from fearsome monsters. In this village which is based on ancient Japan, you will be introduced to an interesting culture and benefit from their technological hunting tools. Interestingly, you will be powered by the Wirebug, an insect that will allow you to grapple towards any direction. This feature is very similar to Spider Man’s web-slinging power.
Moreover, the game will introduce you to vast landscapes to explore with no loading times whatsoever. The game will also be sold as a Deluxe Edition that features the full game and bonus DLC. You can unlock special in-game items by pre-ordering the standard version which costs $59.99 or the deluxe version which costs $69.99. Finally, the game will be released on March 26th, 2021.
