Animal Crossing has been one of the most popular games this year and it has received a vast amount of content since its release. Its latest update is called New Horizons which will start on September 30th. In celebration of Halloween which is just around the corner, this new update brings a spooky theme to players on the Nintendo Switch.

It introduces Halloween costumes, character customization options, DIY projects and festivities. There are Growing Pumpkins which you can grow and harvest. Since Halloween is coming soon, you can stock up on candy, purchase costumes, and you can learn Halloween DIY projects from other residents. On October 31st, during the Halloween night, neighbors will gather in the plaza which will be decorated in the Halloween spirit.

You will be able to trick-or-treat which will get you in-game rewards. Also, since the ability to dream was introduced months ago, now you can revisit dreams from a list, making it easier to visit your favorite islands. You can watch the New Horizons trailer for Animal Crossing below.
