Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore – Soft Launched

One of the most anticipated sci-fi shooter was just soft launched in the Netherlands. That’s right, we are talking about Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore [Free], the iconic title by Deep Silver Fishlabs. The original Galaxy on Fire was first released in 2006 and ten years later, we get to witness the latest of the franchise in its full glory. Fans were really hyped up after the company released a trailer about a month ago which demonstrates the game’s experience in virtual reality.

The plot in Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore revolves around the far-off Neox Sector, described as ”a lawless fringe area of known space terrorized by ruthless warlords and greedy mercenaries.” You will continue your work as a bounty hunter that will be after the blood-thirsty warlords of Neox Sector. This title is expected to be larger than any game in the company’s previous history and will be a game that will lead in its genre. It will remain true to its sci-fi driven shooting & trading theme while unfolding a captivating story to follow and a colossal universe to explore.

What we love most about the game is that you get a fully fledged space exploration experience. Yet space won’t be yours for the taking, there will be unrelenting enemies that will try to destroy you and epic shooting battles that you will engage in. You can also hire fellow players’ ships to support you in your quest to overwhelm the galaxy’s most ruthless criminals.

There is no doubt that Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore is the leading and unchallenged title of its genre; offering gorgeous visuals that will render the lonely and scary space experience into something to admire. Of course, while the game is free to download, it includes in-app purcahses which is very understandable considering how the mobile market has changed. You can click here to be redirected to the Netherlands App Store to get the game; while a worldwide release is expected to take place this summer.
